Point Program

Umbra Point

The Umbra Point Program is designed to reward liquidity providers, traders, and ecosystem contributors for engaging with the Umbra ve(3,3) DEX. Whether you are providing liquidity, generating trading volume, or amplifying the Umbra narrative, the point system ensures meaningful participation is rewarded.

Points are non-transferable but serve as a key metric for future airdrop allocations, governance influence, and ecosystem incentives.

Key Mechanic

Umbra’s point system is designed to optimize deep liquidity and active participation. Points are earned across three primary categories:

  1. Umbra Expedition Program

    1. Liquidity Mining (TVL-Based Rewards)

      1. Earn points based on TVL, duration, and liquidity range width.

    2. Trading Volume Incentives

      1. Earn points for contributing to fee generation and market efficiency.

  2. Umbra Chronicles Program - Content & Referrals

    1. Ecosystem Contribution → additional incentives for creating valuable content & increasing publicity to Umbra ecosystem. More program detail TBA

Early Users Advantage & Priority Rewards

We highly value early adopters, and as a result, OG users will have priority rewards during the initial phases of the program.

Why does being early matter?

  • Every second, a fixed number of points is emitted and split among active participants.

  • Fewer participants in the early days = fewer people to share the rewards.

  • As the program grows, competition increases >>> making early participation a key advantage.

Example:

  • Epoch 0 LPs will compete with fewer users, meaning higher rewards per person.

  • By Epoch 3-4, the competition will be fierce, as more LPs enter the ecosystem.

This first-mover advantage ensures that early supporters receive the greatest share of points before the distribution adjusts for long-term sustainability.

Tracking Your Point

  • All points earned will be displayed on the Umbra Points Dashboard.

  • Leaderboard rankings for top LPs, traders, and content creators will be updated in real-time.

  • Rewards will be claimable at the end of each epoch

Please Note, Each epoch lasts for 14 days, after which points are calculated and distributed based on TVL, trading volume, and contribution metrics.

Leaderboards reset each epoch, ensuring new participants have fair opportunities to earn points.

Getting Started

If you're new to Umbra, the best way to start earning points is by providing liquidity and optimizing your positions in the following pools on Eclipse, as well as trading actively to maximize your share of trading volume rewards.
